Safety is the #1 Priority. Guns must be unloaded at all times unless the shooter is fully in the shooting stand attempting targets
All shooters & guests must follow all hosting club and NSCA code of conduct rules at all times
Scoring procedures and rules will be governed by the NSCA rule book
All shooters must attempt targets from the shooting stand as defined by the club
All targets must be attempted in pairs (report, true or following pairs) unless designated as a single target
Belt Buckle Placing
All placement rules and awards remain at Belt Buckle Challenge management & hosting clubs discretion. Please reach out to Jason Leleck for any rule clarification
An individual shooter's top two scores from the three buckle events (Silver Creek, Colorado Clays, Kiowa Creek) will be combined to determine final placement and shoot off eligibility for individuals. Individual shooters only need to shoot 2 events to qualify for the Belt Buckle shoot off, but they can shoot all three events. A Sponsored Squad's average score from one single event of any of the three Belt Buckle Challenge Series events (Silver Creek, Colorado Clays, Kiowa Creek) will be used to determine final placement and shoot off eligibility. Sponsored Squads can shoot one, two or all three events, but only their highest single event score will be used as the qualifier for Squad shoot off. The Sponsor has the prerogative to designate its Squad members, which do not have to have the same members from shoot-to-shoot. Sponsored Squads may consist of three, four or five members; their scores from any single event will be averaged to determine final placement and shoot off eligibility.
Competition classes eligible for awards will be as follows using NSCA 12ga classification
Master Class
AA Class
A Class
B Class
C Class
D & Hunter Classes combined
Final Round Shoot Offs and Placing
Combined scores and shoot offs will be used for buckle awards only – each individual buckle challenge shoot will have normal NSCA placings per NSCA rules
Shoot off targets will NOT be NSCA registered targets
Awards will be as follows:
HOA Shooter (1 buckle)
HOA Team (5 buckles)
Class Champion (5 buckles) – awarded to competition classifications
§ The HOA shooter will receive one belt buckle (HOA Buckle), and be considered that class champion, no other buckles will be awarded to others in the class from which the HOA shooter came from
Shoot offs for the HOA Shooter and HOA Team will occur at the third and final buckle challenge shoot at Kiowa Creek shortly after all scores are tabulated
Shoot off for Class Buckles will only occur if there are ties, otherwise the top shooter in class (best two scores) will be used for class champions
Individuals
HOA Shooter - The top FIVE shooters will shoot off at 4 pairs of two target presentations (16 targets total).
If an individual shooter is more than 16 targets ahead of any other shooter, no shoot off will be necessary
The targets broken at the shoot off will be added to each shooters top two scores for a final total score
§ Example
• Shooter 1 scores – 95, 90 & 10 broken on the shoot off = 195 total targets broken
• Shooter 2 scores – 94, 93 & 9 broken on the shoot off = 196 total targets broken
• Shooter 2 would be the HOA shooter
Repeat as needed to break any ties
Teams
HOA Team - Highest sponsored team score from any single event can qualifies. The top TWO teams will shoot off with team members shooting one round of 5 stand targets
If an individual team is greater than 25 targets ahead of another team, no shoot off will be necessary

Station 1 will be the easier pairs, station 5 the more difficult pairs
The team will choose which station each team member will shoot from
The targets broken at the shoot off will be added to each teams top score for a final total score to determine HOA team.
Repeat as needed to break any ties
