Check the Auction Items tab to see great adventures and other prizes that are ‘on the block’ for 9/20
Warm up fast and test your long shot skills. Jared Wolfe will be running the fun in the upper parking lot, 8-9am at Station #23
Join the shooters for the 100 target Main Event! The shoot will start after the Safety Briefing and Scouts Color Guard ceremony, rain or shine! There will be A and B squads at most stations, and NSCA rules for a Registered Shoots will apply. Station Prizes will continue to be crazy!
Station Prizes at each Belt Buckle Series shoot will be awarded as 'virtual' credits as shooters compete out on the course, collectable right after the Main event. Each stand will have a posting about the prize and winning target combination offered at that station, which will be compliant with rules for NSCA Registered Shoots. Station Prizes will be awarded when shooters turn in their completed scorecards at the conclusion of the Main/100. Most Station Prizes will be in the form of raffle tickets for the "big ticket" items, fresh Colorado produce from Peach Haus, or as additional Golf Cart Sweepstakes tickets, all awarded during the BBQ.
Since we can’t shoot after we drink alcohol, wristbands will be offered at the scorecard scoring table right after the Main/100. Bartenders will snip your wristband if you decide to enjoy alcohol instead of shooting in the 5-stand Championship Shoot-off, even if you qualified on your sporting clays competition scores. One alcoholic drink gets you snipped!
All the virtual Golf Cart Sweepstakes tickets earned at Silver Creek, Colorado Clays and Kiowa will be converted to hand-held tickets as soon as the Kiowa Main/100 scorecards are added to the totals. The new Ferrari red Evolution Forrester Sweepstakes drawing will take place in the 5-stand arena, right after the Belt Buckle Shoot-off; you must be present at the Sweepstakes drawing to win, and ticket ownership is not transferrable. (Sweepstakes Tickets are sequenced with proprietary numbers that are shooter-specific.)
All Colorado Gaming and Belt Buckle Sweepstakes rules apply, plus there’s no crying if you don’t win the cart!
Kiowa Creek Sporting Club was founded by Mark and Brenda Moore in 1995. Starting out with 160 acres, the club offered just 10 stations of sporting clays and one hunt field, and they ran their office out of a small shed. The business has grown and evolved over time to now include 25 sporting clays stations, a 5-stand, a gorgeous clubhouse and an event pavilion for hosting events, and four hunting and two dog training fields, all on 740 acres. The Moores have also added a related business, Cottonwood Glen, for hosting weddings and parties.
Mark and Brenda’s daughters were raised around the club, and many of its members have watched them grow up. Katie, their oldest, and her husband, Daniel, are managing partners of the club and event center. Now their young boys, Willie and Waylon, are experiencing the same upbringing.
The family continues to make improvements each year to Kiowa Creek’s property, equipment, and facilities as an expression of love for their work and their commitment to offer the best shooting experience in the state.
